I’m Patricia Morrison, life-long Democrat, and I’m running for Commissioner of Finance for the City of Saratoga Springs to bring a forward looking voice for our future.
Saratoga Springs is a special place. It’s why we made it our home. If you are fortunate enough to have been raised here, it’s the reason you’ve stayed. I was raised locally and graduated from Marist College, and I’m committed to serving this community.
By profession I am a business strategist with a background in strategy, marketing, budget, project management and human resources. I began my career as a human resources professional where I represented competing sides in negotiations, yet was savvy at finding the middle ground on tough issues. I have written policies pertaining to health care, performance reviews, salary, and employee relations. I have earned the reputation for bringing teams around the table to tackle high-profile projects on time and in-budget.
After talking to many of you about the upcoming election cycle without a primary, I felt compelled to offer voters a choice for the position of Commissioner of Finance. My goal is to make our city government responsive, transparent and focused on a sustainable future.
